SINGAPORE: A 14-year-old was amongst six males arrested for his or her suspected involvement in two circumstances of automobile theft, the police mentioned on Wednesday (Aug 17).
The police had acquired reviews on Monday that two vehicles have been stolen from automobile parks at Jurong West Avenue 52 and Boon Lay Drive.
"By means of floor enquiries and with the help of pictures from police cameras and CCTVs (closed-circuit tv), officers from Jurong Police Division, Clementi Police Division, Police Operations Command Centre, Prison Investigation Division and Police Intelligence Division established the identities of the six males," mentioned the police.
The suspects, aged between 14 and 32, have been arrested on Monday and Tuesday.
The 2 stolen vehicles have been recovered, mentioned the police, including that the six males shall be charged in courtroom on Wednesday and Thursday with theft of motor autos with frequent intention.
The offence carries an imprisonment time period of as much as seven years and a positive.
